Does anyone know if there are pistons available from an aftermarket in .060? IH only goes to .040. Pistons run in the block, no sleeves. This site doesn't show them.

i looked in the Sealed Power book at work when i first responded. there are 2400A, B, C versions listed. i think all used same gas motor; diesel had choices. largest size avail on gas was .040
it might take some research, but another engine may use the right piston geometry and have the bore you need at .050 or .060 or somewhere in between. what pistons and whether your block can take a bigger bore someone else will have to chime in

It is 3 3/8 bore same as a standard H. But the top of the piston has a relief so it don't hit the head. It is 157 cid where the H is 152. I haven't compared the wrist pin size or compression height yet. It would be nice if the 3 7/16 H pistons would work, but I don't think so.

gas or diesel?
there may be a repair sleeve available, where you overbore the block and insert the sleeve to use std pistons.

Gas. I know repair sleeves are available. It would be easier to just bore it to .060 if we could get pistons.
