G'day
My w4 only really needs a coat of paint and a radiator.
But to paint it i would like to remove the rear wheels and maybe even change the tyres. So my question is how to? and how heavy are they ?
I would rather sound dumb on the internet than hope a neighbor can hear me calling for help from under a wheel.
I also have a spare w4 without rubber and cant get the rims apart, is there a trick i don't know about?
Thanks Permaclutter South Australia

Removing the rims from the wheels is no problem, just remove the lugs. However, removing the wheel from the azle is SUPPOSED to be no problem. Theroredically it will slide off the axle when you remove the retaining bolt from the center of the axle. Usually though, they are frozen solid. You can try penetrating oil, heat, and hydraulic pressure and lots of patience. Sometime they come loose fairly easy and sometime they are vertually impossible to remove. Good luck.
