International 3000 front end loader

Hi, I am having a dickens of a time trying to find parts for an International 3000 loader. It has a decal on both sides, now painted over, that clearly says Internatioal on one line and below that 3000 loader.

CaseIH does not list it on their website. The local caseih dealer has no microfilm on it. CaseCE does not list it on their website. The case construction dealer does not list it. One caseih dealer said it was probably one that dresser bought out. The area tractor company that has been around since the 50's that handles dresser stuff does not list it and the long time parts guys there never heard of it.

I can go to the caseih website, search for a 2656, then go to hydraulics and under F-31 and F-34 under the draft control sections and certain parts such as rods are listed and mention a 3000 loader so I know they must have made one.

For added info, I've been trying to figure out what my tractor is since last summer. First I thought it was a 560, then 606 or 2606. It is definitely an industrial tractor but has a gas engine. The hydraulics and engine stuff seemed to match up to the 2656 so I figured that is what it was until I went to see about new brakes and it clearly has 2606 brakes.

Anyone have any info on this loader? I need to rebuild a bucket tilt cylinder sometime and put a new pin and bushing where a bolt is. It has a case backhoe on the back of it. Thanks.

The 3000 loader was made from '61 to '74. It had a lift capacity of up to 3,500# depending on what tractor. The manual lists these tractors: 340 Utility, 340 Industrial, 504, 2504, 2544, 460 Utility, 460 Industrial, 606, 2606 and 2656.

bc, you may want to take the cylinder to a hydraulic shop and have them rebuild it professionally.

There's a piston on the end of the rod, which is what keeps the rod from popping out and is what the oil pushes on to make it slide in and out of the cylinder.

The 2000 and 3000 look alot a like. The 2000 loader arm will taper down and then have the hole thru the arm for the bucket pin. The 3000 arm will taper down also but it then has a cast/steel insert in it that will curve up. I think the 3000 has a cast/steel insert in both ends of the loader arm. The seal kit # is 471 270 R92 this kit should do both lift and bucket cyl. on either loader. The kits are available from CIH or Baum Hyd. in Omaha Neb. I just got a kit from Baum, alot less money. The pins are loader specific. If you could post a picture of the arm and bucket I could help you further. Your CIH dealer should have a book on this loader. In my opinion your tractor is a 2606 also.

I haven't found a plate on mine, so I guess there may not be one. Mine has the decals that definitely say 2000 loader. They are covered with paint like yours. After looking at your pics I did notice you have double acting lift cylinders. Mine only has single acting (gravity down), so that may be the big difference. They made these to fit many different models, so there will undoubtedly be differences in the bracketry. I have the manual for mine, and I think (can't remember) the part numbers are in there. I do know that the number for the 2000 seal kit is 471270R95, but I don't remember where I got it. I believe that includes everything to rebuild all of the seals.

Good luck wit hthe weather and the horses. We feed only square bales and have them in the barn with the boys, so the biggest problem I usually have is walking to and from the barn :) We have been below freezing here for a week and are expecting snow/freezing rain/sleet tomorrow thru Friday. It's 16 outside at the moment. Ain't winter fun?

Thanks, I bid on the 3000 operator's manual. Don't nobody bid against me.

The same seller has a 2000 op manual at his store if anyone is interested.

te, the top main bucket arm looks the same as well as the vertical post by the back wheel. However your frame piece that goes around the radiator angles down and sits down lower than mine at the radiator.

Mine clearly says 3000 so maybe it is the next generation of the 2000 and maybe not too many were made since it went with the uncommon industrial tractor. I looked for a data plate last night with a flashlight after I stuck it in the mud and couldn't find one. Where is the plate on yours?

It rained last weekend and got up to 55 degrees yesterday. My corral is on a side slope with the horse pen towards the top by the barn. I picked up a bale and it was just too muddy to move up hill or untrack the front tires to turn. The front tires just plowed mud. Rear tires dug in about a foot. It got down to 15 last night and will be 24 degrees all day today. I hope it is frozen enough to move some hay today. I'm afraid the top will freeze and then I'll break through the frozen top crust. Had to feed some square bales which we don't have too many of.
