The clutch disk ONLY will come out bottom and you should be able to get to pilot bearing and trans. seal. They are like a Chinese puzzle to get back in and it may be easier to slit tractor if you have equipment. Have seen this done several times but last time I tried I gave up and had old IH mechanic put it back together.

Are you saying you need to replace the seals on the front of the transmission (input shaft and counter shaft - ie lift all pump shaft)?
If so you DO NOT need to split the tractor to replace them. Did mine last winter without much issue.

Yes the seal in the countershaft is shot!!!!!
and while im at it might as well replace the pilot bearing the tractor jumps ot of road gear
i was told that may be the cause
i can almost get the countershaft coupler off
its just so close but wont happen unless i remove the clutch shaft
