Just like to say thanks especially to Hugh and Gene and all the others who responded to my questions regarding getting the right rebuild kit for my Farmall 130. I could not run the tractor for over 5 minutes without a "cloud" of blue smoke. I cranked it for the first time after the rebuild; runs good with no smoke. Also, I hope I have posted a picture in the Help Identify section of a Farmall tractor a friend has, that belonged to her Grandfather. Thanks!

Looks like a W-4 or W-6, could you post some better pictures?

Those rear tires are the Montgomery Ward tread if they both match they would be a collectors item. They were very popular early in the days of tractor pulling.

Lewis: Like Glen, for me there is not enough photo to name W4 or W6. Then one has to think possible I4 or I6. Lift that hood and get a good side shot of engine both sides, someone will nail it.

If I were asked for a guess right now, it would be W6, based purely on those brake pedals, just look too large for a W4. It's also 57 years since I was around a W series tractor much.

from what i can see of the photo, i'd guess its a w-4. it should have a wide front end under it, non adjustable rear axles. tires on the rear appear to me more of an industrial tire like on a backhoe. could be a w-6 too, but seems kind of small for a w-6.
