We just bought a "49 Cub that came with a plow and disk. I"m trying to mount the plow and I think I must be missing something. I flipped the drawbar hoop around, and put the bolts back in it. But when I bolt the plow on the drawbar then, the back of the landslide is touching the ground and the point is sticking up. I cant think it"ll go in the ground like that! So I thought maybe those bolts in the drawbar needed put in a different hole ( I see there are 3). By doing that the drawbar loop is on an angle instead of parallel with the ground. That helped, but not enough. I left those bolts out then, and let the drawbar pivot on the 2 pins, and then I can get the plow sitting right. So thats how it is now. The drawbar is freely pivoting on its 2 mounting pins on the sides, the plow is bolted on the right side of the drawbar loop, and the chain on the plow is ran up to the lift arm in the back. So what am I missing? Thanks for any help.

Ok, now it all makes sense. I'll have to keep an eye out for one of those other brackets. Thanks a lot. Those pictures really help.

I'm used to my trailer plow. You drop in a pin, clip the rope on your seat and you're ready to go! But I cant wait to try out this Cub.

You need to take those bolts out! There is an adjuster that bolts to the drawbar ( on right ) to hold the drawbar lower.. Good luck Jim

You're missing the depth control lever, for one. This lets you lift and lower the drawbar from the driver's seat to control the front-rear angle of the plow (lowering the point to make it dig deeper).

www.tm-tractor.com/gim/gim_001.htm

The above site has implements hookups.

You also need the lever mounted on the right side of the tractor to control the drawbar.
