I have replaced my rear rims on my 140 with some supplied thru a A&I dealer.
The rims are correct size, the hub centers match up to rim loops perfectly for bolt in purposes.
However the rim loops are set near the edge-like the originals but I find the valve stem hole is on the "Wide Side"meaning the stems will be on the inside of the rim.Its looks like there could be a possibility of the valve stem on the long axle side could rub has any one else had this problem?-(I havent put on yet but just eyeballing it)
Your thoughts ideas-solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I know the rims you're talking about and it might depend on what you have for wheels. Mine are cast, and the only place they bothered were when I set them as narrow as possible on my BN. That is to say, I mounted them on the inside of the wheel with the lugs on the rim to the outside, putting the air stem on the inside. In that case, the stem did hit up against the final drive on its way around.

I've got a pair of original rims to clean up and put on. For the meantime, I've kept the valve stems on the replacements to the inside, but mounted the rim on the outside of the wheel, which took care of the problem for now.

Your temp solution was my long term solution.
Why you going back to original do the replacements look ok-or you need the narrow width?
Just curious-havent had mine on yet
By the way-Thanks for you reply.Puttig those rims in the outside will probably save my bacon-I a cast rim on one side and pressed on the other.

Yep, the cast wheel on one side and pressed on the other side was fairly common on the As, to help balance the offset.

I'm goin' back to the originals just because mine was a family tractor and I'm puttin' it back as close to original for appearance and function as my pocketbook and temperament allow. (Now, if I can just track down the old cultivators and get the exhaust lift rigged and runnin'!) One of the original rims was good. The other had had the bolts welded to the brackets on the rim, as the bolts apparently got loose once and egged out the holes on the wheel. I couldn't save the brackets in gettin' the two apart to see why they were welded in the first place.

My neighbor is gonna take my replacements to put on his Bolens. He wants to be able to swap out between turf and ag tires without havin' to have everything knocked off and remounted twice a year.
