super A blade question

Can you tell me what the stock blade size is for the super A.

I have a cub blade that measures 4feet 6 inches long by 14 inches tall. Im thinking of using this blade and having a weld shop fab up the mounting arms. Would this be a good route to go? Where can I get cheap snow plow blades if this isnt a good idea. Any suggestions?

The Cub blade is much lighter construction than the Super A blade. The cushion springs are smaller and the structural parts are lighter wt. I've bent and broken things on a blade on a 140, so the lighter weight Cub blade is going to get bent or broken if you get up to the full capability of the Super A

I found a blade off a truck at the wreckers, with Hydraulics for 100 bucks. I also got the truck mount which I fabbed up a mount to the tractor. I know there were a lot of people who say the blade is too heavy for this tractor, and I don"t disagree with them. In my case this tractor has had a front end loader on since new, therefore the who front end has been long worn. Just my 2 cents.

RJV: The Super A factory blade was 60". You'll have a lot of snow falling in around your wheels when plowing with blade angled. I built my own blade a 72" works much better. Keeping the weight down, (actual blade itself) is a big item if your going to lift it same way as the factory blade.
