From the Case and New Holland Part & Service Catalog: I have a #241 hydraulic system that is a conversion for an A1-23 Highway Mower. I would like to install a #234 hydraulic system rockshaft. My question is: How do you remove key number 2 (Part number: 350662R1) the pin from the connecting rod on the rockshaft, key #14 (Part number 350913R2)?
It appears that key number 1 (Part Number 350677R2 support----Link, operating, control valve is attached to Number 2 (Part Number 350662R1 Pin).
What is the easiest way to get this disassembled? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TV, I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but the part numbers you're using are the same as the stock hydraulic unit on my '49 Super-A.

That 2-armed 'link' encloses that pin on either side. It's gotta come off first, and I did mine by removing the two nuts and bolts whose holes you can see in this pic.

The arms can then be spread enough to pop them off the ends of that pin.

I then drove the pin out with an old socket (that would fit INSIDE the bores of the rockshaft 'forks')(and so I wouldn't damage the nubs on the pin on which the levers sit) and a big-*ss hammer and a bunch of cuss words. They didn't come out easy.

If I'm remembering right, I had to remove the outer rockarms for clearance to swing. The ends of the rockshaft that hold these are tapered, (and keyed), and came off right easy once the big nuts on the ends were removed.

I didn't use heat or penetrant on the part of the rockarm that holds the pins. Probably wouldn't hurt. It would suck to bust something.

I think I had most of that apart on my C, but that was 6 years ago. I don't remember it as being particularly easy, as you have found out. Probably rusted in. Try some penetrant and a punch and see if it can be driven out. Heat might help, but I did not use a torch.

Thanks for the info. My pins were relataively easy to get out. I used just a little penetrating oil and a drift punch and they popped out.
I appreciate your help.
