Great forums! I have both a 1926 steel wheel and a 1927 rubber tire 10-20. I am looking for someone to restore both tractors. I need one complete by Labor Day of 2009 for a show in Charles City, Iowa.

One tractor is here is Springfield, Missouri and the other is still in Charles City, IA. Both are my Grandfathers and have sat in the field for almost 50 years. Any place between Charles City, IA and Springfield, MO would be good. Eastern Nebraska or Kansas is fine. I will haul to delivery and pickup.

The steel wheel engine had been rebuilt and parked. Motor is stuck but grease pen numbers written on the values are still visible. Rolls and steers great. Needs fenders, hood and sides.
The rubber tire tractor I"m not sure about. Has sheet metal but at least 1 rim is rusted out. Unsure of motor but it was running when parked. Front wheel is currently off but there with the tractor.

Any help or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Dave

Speed and quality are more important at this time than cost. I have research most of the parts from all of the website but I am in the middle of too many other restoration projects to devote much quality time to the tractors. Any and all comments are most appreciated!

Thanks,
Dave

A great project but I hope you have deeeeep pockets.I bet your talking at least $12-15,000 per tractor. I know it sounds high but if you plan to pay for all the labor involved not to mention parts some of which will probably need to be made ( fenders ? )it adds up in a hurry. Good luck.

Great projects. Hope it all works out for you. Finding good sheet metal will probably be the toughest part of the work.

There is an outfit in Des Moines, Ia that might be interested. He reads these forums, so he may respond. If not, send me an email, and I'll give you the contact info.
