After a half day Friday and a full day Saturday, here is my '44 H. Please note the yellow front end with motorcycle tires. I took a lot of time to get the new fuel line, choke control, and battery box to fit in there together, but I think they came out all right. Next is buying and fitting new battery cables, routing a few wires, adding some fuel and firing it up! It will all depend on how much the 0 gauge battery cables will set me back. The cheaper the sooner.

Bet you can"t wait, like a kid on Christmas morning! I just got a 1928 chevy 1 ton truck, original barn baby and can"t wait to get it fired up. It sat since WW2. That will be my spring/summer project, after I get the 3 point on my H. Yours looks good so far!

Yes, and that is the eventual plan. Magman is waiting in the wings for me to come up with the funds.

Not new, but I don't know if it's original. It was leaking, so I spent $50 to have it fixed up at a local radiator shop. I think that was a pretty fair deal, but I don't know what all he did. But he says it won't leak now, and that's good for me. Plus, he shot some gloss black on it, so it looks newer from a distance.

Don't ya have a hand crank? Once my H got to a certain point I stayed up all night to get it back together and running!

I really like the motorcycle tires, they will give you better performance on the pavement than tri-ribs! LOL

Looks good, can't wait to see pictures of you driving it down the street!

I sure am Tom. It's moving up on the priority list as other things are taken care of. But right now it turns, so I can use it.
The fenders I got for $45 a piece at a salvage yard!! I could hardly believe the luck, and how generous those guys have been. There are two yards that have both been great. I got the extentions and hardware for an additional $40. Fenders weren't a top priority, but there were two at the yard in decent shape at an incredible price. So I jumped on them when I had the chance!

Actually, I can proudly say that I have had help all along the way from a lot of folks! Tons of advice from folks on this board, plus my good friend from my tractor club who lives down the road. He's been exceptionally generous with his time, tools, and talent. Without him, I would never be as far along as I've gotten!

Yes, but not actively. The last one I saw on Ebay went for $153!! I have bigger priorities, considering my currently manifold would need quite a bit of work to get it usable for the shield.
But thanks for looking out!
