How much ballast do i need on my 574?

I am trying to balance the weight of my 574 to help with keeping the rear wheels on the ground while using the front end loader. I was using it with nothing and found one wheel has more fluid in it than the other. I added the dearborn grader blade to the rear and 4 80lb suitcase weights hanging off of it. I am hoping that will aid in keeping the rear end on the ground and hoping that the weight hanging off the back of the blade will be more useful than if tucked in closer to the fulcrum.

Any Ideas or suggestions?

found out today the grader blade with weight won't work because I cannot get it high enough to get on the trailer when loading and I don't want to load and unload the weights and blade every time I take the loader off and on the trailer.
I like the weights hanging in the first pic reminds me of something I would do.

another quickie is bale spear and round bale.
if you're moving bales with the loader it's almost natural. it's handy if your bales are stored near the yard or work area too.

don't exceed tractor, tire, loader weight limitations whatever you do.

Dunno Karl,

I tried that and it didn't work too darned well.

Couldn't see behind and when in the corral with the cattle they would crowd around that rear bale.

Was always afraid of running over one of 'em when backing up.

First, I'd get both wheels filled with the same amount of fluid and filled to the maximum.

The further out you hang the weight, the less weight you'll need, but then you compromise maneuverability. That blade will get in the way in tight spaces.

What I've seen used most commonly is a simple mass of concrete connected to the 3pt hitch. You get a 55gal drum, shove a 1-1/8" steel bar through the middle, and fill it with Sakrete and rocks. Sometimes I've even seen them cast into large blocks instead of cylinders, even.

Down, fast and dirty but it works. Just a standard frontend rack of weights with a hitch bar ran thru the handles.
