Couv, if you're talking about the inch-thick head on the rear, here's what sits behind it, and no, nothing jumps out at you, though you'll notice the one large and two very small springs.
What you WILL have to do is be VERY careful to make sure that everything goes back exactly from where it came, and in exactly the proper order. Some things come out the rear, but some come out the front, necessitating the removal of the rockshaft assembly, brackets, etc. These bottom boots hide the control valves which come out the front.
Mine has a cover plate on the bottom, (others have one on top), which reveals this...
...and I took out all the allen-head plugs before getting the block cleaned, and I was glad I did, because at least one had a bunch of gummy stuff above it.
Finally, here's a pic of most of what comes out the rear, front, and bottom.
Some of the parts are hard to remove from their bores because of the o-rings. I've kept all the pictures I took, so if you're going to go ahead and jump into this, keep asking questions, or check the archives.
