I started my Cub lo-boy the other day and heard a noise, which was the fan belt cutting into the radiator. Upon further inspection, the yoke (made of cast) had been brazed sometime before (I got it at an auction 2 to 3 years ago), so it broke again.

So now I need to find the parts (the cast yoke assembly, fan, and radiator). Does anyone know of a source that is reasonably priced and close to the northwest part of Virginia?

Thanks a lot!

Lee

Thank you both for your insight and advice! Now I know what I'm dealing with and what parts I'll need to get. I appreciate it!

Did not mention above, but you have to pull the crank pulley to replace the support for the fan pulley. The support is part of the front engine cover. That is why is was brazed instead of replaced. While you are into it, also get yourself a new front engine seal since the seal is mounted in the front engine cover. To do the job properly, you will also need a new front cover gasket.
