Ordinarily, I'd say the handiest would be the Operator's Manual, but the one for my BN only covers a magneto, not the coil distributor. (Seems odd, they came with both, and the OM for my Super C covers both). Logically, I'd next say the IH Service Manual that covers As, AVs, Bs and BNs, but I see that mine only deals again with setting up mags. I know that the books Grandpa had for his H, there was a separate, small book for the coil ignition, so maybe that's how IH dealt with it, but I haven't seen that booklet available anywhere as a reprint. That leaves the I&T-8 manual, that cover the entire letter series. It DOES include coil distributors, so that'd be the one I'd recommend. I see it available under the mauals in the store on this site. What I don't see there is the Operator's Manual, which is a really handy thing to have around for a lot of the little maintenance issues. So you might also check out binderooks.com, too, for that.
