Bought a small point fasthitch Danuser blade model IB-IH to use on my 230. I want to cut a border but can't get the darn thing to tilt. Tried putting block under one side and used the hitch but all I did was lift the tractor. Tried to pull it apart with two tractors, just dragged one tractor. The screw in the front is all the way out and I can't get the thing to budge. Can anybody give me a clue as to how this thing is put together?

Tried a hydraulic jack today and still nothing. It is a lot of metal to heat don't know if it will all get red hot at the same time. Was trying to avoid the torch but may be the only way. I'll take some pictures and see if I can figure out how to post them. Thanks, Craig

Probably had too much grease on it from the factory.

It's probably put together exactly how it looks like it's put together...

What's probably going on is, it's rusted together at the pivot. Getting that moving again will require getting it apart. Getting that apart is probably going to require heating the outer part with an oxyacetylene torch until it's red hot and beating the blade apart with a large sledge hammer. Now you can clean up the rust, lubricate it, and put it back together.

Wont your fast hitch on the 230 tilt from side to side? The linkage that tilts the blade is missing on my super C.

You got a picture of it?

There were several 2 pt blades made.

We don't know which one you have without seeing it.
