I bought a new starter switch for my 130 from CaseIH, back in Jan. The switch has not been damaged in any way, Today it stuck, not enough to engage the starter, but I could hear battery humming and turning into a bubbling sound. It was probably stuck less than 30 seconds as I had just started the tractor and moved it about 20'. I hit the starter switch with my fist and it popped out.I took a battery cable off and the button was clearly sticking. Applied some penetrating oil and it freed right up. Put my cable back and it was almost dead. I hand cranked it and it fired right up, alternator charging. I moved it up in front of shop door and after 10 min shut it off. It was better but still wouldn't crank. I put a charger on it for two hours, now it cranks as well as ever and starts. I think I'm safe on the starter, but I'm betting that barrtey will be dead again in the morning. I raise this as I've had 6 of these tractors in the past 50 years, currently still have 3 one of them being the original. In all my years, I never had one of those switches stick. Also in all my years, I've never seen such a tin can example of one of those switches. I could just as easily not noticed that and gone to the house for the night.
