Here is a picture of my 1946 W-6 in its present state. Currently on the rear are 16.9-30 on one side and 13-30 on the other. According to the McCormick parts catalog the rears should be 12-30, 13-30, or 15-30. Since it already has a 13-30 on one side, should I assume this is the correct tire? What brand originally came on the tractor, Firestone? What are your opinions, should I stay with the 45-degree tread or use the modern tread? The front tire diameter is 16". As you can see, it now has automotive tire on it. The McCormick parts catalog list fronts as 6.50 x 16 or 6.00 x 16. Can I use the 6.5 x 16? How many ribs (one, two, three) is authentic? By the way, does anyone know the color code for the red paint and the silver (for the rims)? Sorry for all the question, but I'm a new-comer this. Don't worry, she be beautiful again some day.
