Front front wheel bearing

I have got a 1935 farmall f20 that i am putting back on steel I can get the bearing races out of the wheel but i can not get them into the new one I can get them started and down in a little then they stop what is the easiest way to get them all the way in press? hammer? what? any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

if you have correct sizes, then the best way to do it is with a press.less chance of damageing the parts.just make sure everything is clean, maybe give it a rub with emery cloth on the bore and use some light oil before pressing in.

I use bearing race drivers (Check the link below). They fit right inside the race and you can whack on the race hard and not worry about maring or breaking the race.

Next best thing is a brass punch and hammer.

Make sure the race is going down straight.

With the race drivers they will go down straight cause you are hitting in the middle.
