There was 2 listings for my farmall row crop 300 for the F wheel pilot bearing so I bought them both. They both have the same # like 204 but one is a FF and one is a SS that follows the 204, The SS has a steel plate on both sides of the bearing and the FF has plastic or Nylon what one should I use??? RIT moving to a new campus in South Henrietta gave something to think about - like maybe a name change?

The SS is just shielded and not sealed. The FF is sealed and thats the one I would use. Just my opinion. Roy

I would use the SS bearing. It is more heavily shielded. Plastic is probably OK though. I like the idea that a little rougher treatment on reassembly won't damage it. Visiting Rochester NY. JimN

Well unfortunately, it is over. The conference is preparation for an educational program training session I am "local" director of in Minnesota. The program is Project Lead Lead The Way. I will be the University Faculty and teacher, training High School teachers to be certified in the teaching of Design Technology to their students. Tomorrow I'll Fly back. Rochester Institute of Technology is a good place to have had the meetings, I Love the campus, and it exceeded my expectations. Maybe we can get together at some point My wife and I are planning a tour (tba)to NY some time in the next year or so. Jim

Jim - Wish I'd known you were in town today - would have taken you across the street to MacGregor's for a beer or something!! (My home is only a couple miles from the RIT campus in Chili...) Bob M

Bob M. I was there 5 days a week between 96-98, that is when it used to be on the corner of Townline Rd. and 15 I think. A quick stop in there made night classes a little better.
