Just went outside to the shed after work around 6 this evening and after putting some gasoline in the tank, the B fired up immediately after sitting all winter since last September. I mowed some weeds with the flail mower for about a half hour then parked it as it was starting to get dark. I just think its great to have a peice of equipment thats 62 years old and still performs so well!

You mean to tell us that you didnt drain all fluids put oil in the cyclinders and jack up to remove all weight on the tires then put fresh gas in the tank and it started wow. I am like you just park em and they will be ready in the spring. Great tractors have mounted plow on one and a cult on another and loader on yet still another and also a rear blade on one couldnt get along without em.

I have a 1946 H and tomorrow is it's turn after sitting all winter also. I'm pretty confident that it too should start with no problem, - we'll see. Battey needs charged first though. After that I will try firing up the '64 Cub Cadet 70. That little bugger has given me so much work for the last 35+ years and even though its getting worn, it still performs well. Has the original mower deck and just last year got its first rust hole. I don't think the mower decks of today will last that long.
