I am currently in the process of rebuiding a farmall 450 gas to enable me to pull at local tractor pulls. I also need to be able to do light-medium farm work. The sleeves in the block are loose. I am thinking of boring out the block to place bigger pistons and sleeves.I am looking to find out information on where I can locate the correct parts and any suggestions, information I can find. I am also in need of a bigger carburator, a manifold and any equipment I may need to progress with larger pistons and sleeves.Any help would be appreciated.

I just put in a set of M&W 4 1/4 inch pistons last week. Got them from Howard Enterprise. You can put a venturi from a 560 in the carburater. You will have to drill the load jet out to go along with the larger venturi.

Where can I locate Howard Enterprise for the pistons? What did you do for the sleeves? Do you know of an after market dealer for farmall parts? As you can see I am new at this and would appreciate any kind of advice or suggestions on making this tractor ready for pulling but still maintaining farm work capability.
