I'm going to look at a 766 tomarrow. It is going to replace 2 of the following tractors: Farmall 340,a 560D or a 656D Hydro. The Hydro is a great tractor for pto work but is starting to get weak in the tillage department. That's when the 560 gets used.My question is,will I miss the Hydro when I'm baling, picking corn etc.or will the trans. in the 766 be versetile enough to do it all?I guess I'm just spoiled. Thanks

That's a tough one! I miss our hydro when doing loader work, snow blowing, storing equipment, spraying. We were out of cattle by then so baling is not something I have done. Not so good for wagon hauling or even light tilage, the trans just isn't efeciant, has to be why hydros were not as poppuler as they could have been. Guys feeding cattle should have loved them tho! Which tractor were you gonna keep?

Should keep the 340 because it has the hi-lift on.Good for raking and planting.New paint on 560 and engine and TA both very good.Has NF tho.The 656 has WF,good tires and a roof. Both have straight tin and look real good. Here in western Pa. asking $4,000.00 a piece is right up there but not really out of sight. What do you think?
