I've got an IH carb here that I pulled off a wreck a few years ago. It is definitely an IH, maybe a numbered series but I'm not sure. It has the front position throttle linkage hookup with the governor shaft (not quite sure how that works exactly since I'm not too familiar with IH). It's a big bruiser of a carb, the manifold mount holes are about 2 11/16 inches apart (center to center) and they would be 3/8" bolts. The throttle throat is 1 7/16" diameter and the air intake has a diameter of 2 1/4". There is a small brass washer style tag riveted on the upper half that has the numbers 361525R92 stamped into it. Any idea of what model or series of IH this thing came off? And what other model(s) could use it? Thanks.

That parts number shows up in my SPICE list as being for a 140 combine with a C169 or C175 engine. It is a gravity feed updraft carb. The SPICE list sometimes misses interchanges (especially for a listing that old) but the outlook is not good for fitting a tractor.

Not absolutely sure by the description, but here are some possibilities...Super H, M, Super M, late W-4, W-6, Super W-6, 300, 400, 350, 450, maybe some others. The same carb could interchange within some of these models. The number on the brass tag is the part number. A call to a good parts guy at your friendly Case / IH dealer would get it exactly...others on the board may be able to find it in their parts books...BB
