Gene, Thanks for the response."are you talking about the steering side in that area how high up did the crack go might have an internal crack also" Yes the crack and the braze are on the front right corner. The corner of the block including the two block mounting holes were broken loose and brazed back to the block. The crack is visible from under the block at the oil pan mounting face. It does not extend up past the original braze. "some of the new ceramic type of stuff you would have to rig up some sort of pump to circulate the mixture would be easy connect from the drain plug to the radiator this is some excellent stuff hear good reports about it" I'm not sure what your talking about here, is these like the GUNK stop leak stuff you put in a radiator only better? I know the right way to fix this is tear the whole thing down dig out the old braze, heat the block up and braze it all again. I'm getting lazy in my old age and trying to get off light.
