I have a manual bucket on a 504 utility. I would like to convert it to a hydrolic dump. What do I need to do this and could someone walk me through the procedure?

It might help to post the model number of the loader you have. I've seen two setups, one is like alot of modern loaders that use two cylinders (1 on each side) that attach to the bucket high, probably near your trip latches now. The other method (used on some of the early IH loaders and some big CAT trackloaders (963) is to use one cylinder mounted in the middle that pushes down on the back of the bucket. I'm mounting a model 2001 IH loader on a SM now and it has this style attachment that was available as an option from IH. I know the old model 33/34 pipe loaders had a similar option. And of course you need an extra remote two-way valve on you hydraulic system or add one.

I just purchased a 1965 IH 504 and it has the 2001 loader on it with manual bucket. Would you be able to provide me with some pictures of the cylinder and set-up from your tractor?
