There we go! And all it took was to have people sit down, take a look at how theyre acting, and grab a better attitude. Thank you Mr. Cunningham for being a very big man on this issue. I will now gladly give you my business..... .... i need 4 different carbs at this moment... will talk to you soon!

I think maybe ole Ken B was the tough one on this. Why wont you let Ed find you the right carb. Is it one that you dont even know what the right one is.

I wasn't going to add my two cents worth but since I work in the parts bussiness I have to vent alittle. We strive to get the customer the correct part providing the customer gives us the correct information. I would like to have a dollar everytime a customer tells me it doesn't matter, they are all the same, just order it and if I don't need it I'll return it.

I know this is off the topic abit but applies. We try to tell the customer that it's not right, they tell us thats what they want and when they get it and it's wrong it's all our fault. Used parts are different, new parts cost the company money. It cost us 30+ percent to return parts plus the shipping back.

Now when the customer returns the part and we tell him NO, then he's mad, we tell him yes minus 30 percent restock plus shipping he's mad. We take it back to keep him happy and credit him back frieght then the part increased in value. Company has more dollars in inventory and now the customer is mad because we don't have the correct part in stock. It's a no win situation at times. Customers attitude makes the biggest part of what we will do for him.

In todays world it's tough out there. Lots of internet competition, who has it the cheapest, who can we trust. Ten years ago we trusted our local dealers. Today it's where we save the penny. Now we have a place to turn to to complain to because we didn't get the best deal or got a wrong part. We get peoples involved that doesn't know a thing about whats happening. People don't know the phrase "AS IS" or "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" Used to be everything was signed with a hand shake and a mans word.

I understand where Ken is comming from to. He's got a 135.00 part that he can't use. I an unaware of the conversation that went on between ED and Ken. Maybe attitudes didn't click that day. I think, I think, yes I said I think it's a shame that we need to get the outside invoved all the time. It's good to here that they now are trying to work things out between them.

I have never dealt with ED but I know where he's coming from. I'm sure like any bussiness he took the money he got from Ken to to pay his bills and to buy more inventory. That one reason I never sell any of my used Case parts. I have a good idea of what it will cost me to replace it. Ok maybe I posted a dimes worth of time. Lets just all smile and have a good day.

This is why i made the comment on Mr. Cunningham needing to stop acting all childish and huffy..... .. If he wasn't acting so childish MAYBE he would do what's right and exchange or refund your money. ANY parts dept out there would do what's right and make the deal proper. I guess he's not a real parts dept.

I'm starting to think this is more of a fight that is caused by stubbornness on both parts. 1 claims he asked for correct part..... 1 claims pulling tractor and customer asked to ship anyway. I'm starting to think that the only recourse here is to let a Judge or mediator handle the situation. I'ts impossible to say who is right. I DO think mr. Cunningham should quit with the childish replies and act like the honest adult he is known to be, however.

Consider that Mr. Cunningham has personally set the value of his reputation at $135, an asset that most people I know would count as priceless. Ken, thanks for your diligence in this matter. Caveat Emptor

You fellows are doing a disservice to the armed forces by bringing your jobs into this. Its a cheap shot and you hit your credibility with that bullet. You two are a couple of babies.
