this is in reply to feedback that mark mayer left for us. we called him about some allis parts and asked him for prices. he gave me prices and i told him the parts were for my brother. i let him know that he wanted three items and he asked about three or four other pieces. we contacted mark and told him we only wanted to get the first three items we talked about. then the next time i talked to him he changed the prices on all the parts we wanted. we agreed to take the parts at those prices and he sent us a ups shipping quote that told the exact shipping for the items. we paid through paypal for the items. he contacted us after we got the items and said the shipping was more than we paid. i told him to contact my brother about other shipping and he never did. he told me he was mad because he had just shipped a wide front end to north carolina and was never paid for it. i also asked if he could hold the parts for my brother a while until he got some money because of sickness in family and he said he would. in a couple days he emailed back wanting payment because he had better things to do than take parts off all day and let them sit in the corner of his shop when they could have been sold. i think i have bought enough items from people to know that i am good for my word but i think it is the sellers responibility to make sure the shipping quote is right before you ship the items and be correct with the buyer on what you are intending to do as far as holding items and selling. i think if mr. mark wanted to give me some items i would not be interested in them after this. i would be a little leary about buying from him because you never know what to expect from him. as far as me and my brother are concerned about buying from someone. please keep your parts until you receive payment from us just like you do and are supposed to do for all other buyers. if the shipping quote you give us is to much we will do just like anyone else would do, either pay it or don"t get the items. the shipping of the items are the sellers part so if it cost more than you quoted the buyer then contact them before you ship the parts. thanks robbie thomas

Bottom line you where intersested in a number of parts and I sent a estiamated quote off of the UPS web site based on weight.I held these parts you needed for several weeks due to a illness in your family. When I contacted you buy e-mail and stated I have not received confirmation or payment and the parts would be sold to the first buyer I received payment the next day.As for price adjustment you forgot to mention I included the rockerarm assembly and themostat housing free of charge.I have sold numerous parts on Y.T and have always refunded or received payment for shipping if it was more than a couple of bucks either way.Keep in mind this is not E-Bay and most transactions are between people who have a passion for tractors.

Sounds like you guys could have dealt with this in private. Doesn't sound like a deadbeat buyer to me. This sort of post could hurt BOTH of you in the long run. Are you both too stubborn to budge? Can't you meet in the middle to show good faith?
