I advertised for a carb and received several replys. I agreed to one guy that said he had a rebuilt one. He wanted a money order. I sent him the money order and seven weeks later I still don't have the carb. I have asked several times about it. He first wanted me to send the old carb but I refused since that was not the in the deal. Then he said he had to order it (don't know if he meant kit or carb). Last email said he would have it in a few days and don't worry. I think I have been more than patient. I don't want to put up bad feedback but he needs to get this done. If I don't get my money back or carb within the next week I will list his name here for others to be careful of.

Bought a tractor from a gentleman from Camas Washington. Sent him $2700. Over a year later and he was all but impossible to get ahold of. Changed address, never returned phone calls. I am sure he had no intention of sending the tractor. Talked to my Local sheriff. 3 days later I had my money back. Never got the tractor, never got reimbursed for my phone calls and wasted time. But happy non the less to get my money back. Carefull who you deal with. There is a few slippery ones out there.

I"ve had over 5000 deals on the internet and have never lost a dime. If you sent a postal money order, or money through the US postal service, that makes it mail fraud...a Federal Offence. If you don"t get satisfaction, turn it over the to the post office, they don"t look kindly on such crapola.

Same thing happened to me.I sent Larry Strohl of Washington state a money order for a rebuilt carb, After several promises to ship and over a year I still have nothing. I;m not saying this will happen to you. but it sure sounds like the same line of bull ship! The longer you wait the harder it will be to get anything out of him. If you still have the MO # and sent it by mail, then this is mail fraud.Check it out
