anyone have any dealings with this person? I received 4 postal money orders @900 each for purchase of a truck advertised on YT truck classifieds . I advertised for 2700. Iam quite sure this is some dishonest situation just wondering if anyone else knows of this person?

It IS a scam. Happened to me last spring. Sent several MOs. for more than I was asking. Shipper never showed up. I did not cash them

overpayment is almost always a scam, most of the time it ends up that the money orders are fakes and then your out the money and the item. I got one of those once and I told the guy that I didn't make change thatif he sent more than i was asking that my price would immediately rise to match the amount sent and that I would not release the item until I had confirmation that the money was safely mine. Never heard from him again.

Take them to the post office and have them checked out.

Is there any mention of a shipping company? If so, have the local police come take them off your hands. Had to do that once. Printed out series of e-mails, got the funny money, err, uh, check and called the cops. Deputy came out and collected it.

might not be a scam. I think you can only get postal money order up to a certain dallor amount, I think around $1000.

Yes, but why would you send 4 of them at $900.00 apiece, it would only take 3 of them at $900.00 apiece to make the $2700.00 he wants.

Probably a scammer, when you get over paid, almost always a scam.
