I recently had the chance to buy some John Deere A parts from this man. Very easy too deal with, fast responses & quick shipment. Heartily recommended with no hesitation.

Agree with everyone. Howard is one in a million. I bought a 1950 John Deere G from him and had all sorts of trouble getting it hauled. Bought it last December, paid to have it hauled, and the person I paid took the money and disappeared even though he continues to advertise. Howard kept it in his barn, although he needed the space, and was a genuine friend through it all. Would not hesitate to recommend him for anything as he is one fantastic person and businessman.

Who was the trucker that took your money? Seems like this is a good forum for airing those kinds of grievances as well.

Jake

For what its worth--here are some comments! Have taken this to the Better Business Bureau in Nebraska and his Sheriff. Since another hauler (FANTASTIC person!!) has already picked up the G, all I really want is my money back however with no response--had no choice other than turn it over to the authorities. Through all this, Howard has really kept his sense of humor and has been a true friend rather than insisting I get the tractor out of his way! Would do business with him anytime as there is none better

I agree full heartedly. One of the best people I have met in the industry. He's a heck of a writer too.
