yesterday i was using my to30 and when i went to lower the back blade it wouldnt go down i kept moving the lever until it finally went down. what would cause this because its not the first time its happened. also i worked the tractor for about 3 hours and after awhile when i wanted the blade to come up it would jerk on its way up would that be a bad pump? i already put new valves in the pump and new hydrolic oil in it.

There is a spring that runs from the front of the ram cylinder on the lift to the control yoke linkage. When this spring gets weak it will sometimes not let the control valve be pulled into its spool. Remove the right hand inspcetion plate and see if you can remove the spring and cut some of it off and bend a new hook on it so that it will be shorter and this should solve the problem of intermittant operation of the lift.

I had this happen, and it was that one side of the control linkage had come of the control valve "T". It sort of dragged the control valve in and out in a jerky fashion.
Hope it's just that.
