Our TO 35 has been converted to a 12 volt system via a change in generators. My question is, is there any way to convert these tractors to 12 volts and keep the tractormeter? Perhaps the original 6 volt generator could be rebuilt(rewound)? Or could the 12 volt Delco-Remy generator be adapted to the tach drive from the 6 volt generator. Any one out there solved this dilemma?

The late TO 35s were 12 volt with Delco gererator.
Maybe that would work on your tractor. I think a generator shop could make your 6 volt generator into a 12 volt also.
