any one with a to20 or to30 will see this if they work it hard in hot weather and the gas is low in the tank. the thing is that not many look in the tank but the ones that do this is what they will see mine has been doing it since 1949 also gas has a low boiling point. it will take some one smarter to tell what it is ?

Not much of a carb. man but if you have to pull the choke to keep her running , then you are not getting enough fuel . Check your fuel flow at the carb.. Also check the carb. adjustments . I would recomend an I & T shop manual . Available at MF dealers and Tractor Supply , etc. . Mine has been a big help on my TO-30 .

As far as the boiling gas , seems like I have seen this discussed before but I don't remember the outcome . You might want to check the archives .

By the way . My last name is Graves also . Where are you from ? I am from NC .
