Yep, 1952. Mine's TEA 273833, all the way over here near Smiths Falls. They went from 80 mm bore to 85 mm bore at around s/n 173,000, giving about 4 hp extra (from 24 to 28).

Yours is a 1952 , as the serials for 1952 ran from 241336-310779. It has a standard engine from Britain with a bore of 85mm and a stroke of 92 mm and 28.2 hp at the ground.

Sounds like a Fergie 2085 , probably twin sister to mine . "A" indicates the British version , which was exported to Canada . It should have been built in Coventry , England , by Standard Motor Company . It will also have the Standard Engine and not the Continental , which was used in the TEO version . By all guesses , 1951 or 52.

Hi Guys
I am just west of you outside Peterborough, Ontario and have a 1951 TEA # 238948 - I wonder of some of these "sisters" came to Canada on the same ship.
