Hi, can anyone help. I have a TEA 20. I've cleaned out the carb and all looks fine, but after it runs for about a minute it dies, just like it out of gas, I've made all the adjustments I can think off, still dies. What are the initial settings for the High and Low speed mixture ?. I thought I was handy but this has me beat. Hope to hear from someone before it snows, Thanks, Mac

Check your float valve , those little beggars stick shut all the time or open and drip gas on the ground . Two adjustments idle and "loading ' rough adj is 1 1/4 turns , fine tune for every tractor, should go from idle to wide open with no hesitation , mine sputters a bit but pulls like crazy.

According to my manual the following adjustments should be made. Main Jet,(larger knob on right.) adjust when engine is warm. Adjust to fully closed then open one full turn. Then adjust so that engine runs smooth and according to load. Mine works best at 1 and 1/4 turns out.
Idle adjustment, set at 7/8 of a turn open. An adjusting screw on the throttle shaft arm regulates minimum idling speed.
