Hello Everyone
Just a quick question if I may. I want to change the motor oil in my Fergy, What type of oil do I use and how much will she take? Filter type would be a great help as well. I noticed last night, where I think the oil filter is. Do I unscrew that bolt that holds the filter in place? Sholuld I put some oil in that metal cylinder when I put it back together? Sorry for all the questions, but like I said in an earlier post, I know nothing about this little gem. But Im learning. Thanks for all the great help here

The TE-20 Takes 30 wt. Non-detergent oil.

(if engine was rebuilt with modern seals then detergent motor oil may be used)

I believe it is 4 qts. But I do not have my manual here. Use your dip stick if not sure.

The oil filter gasket is available from MF, part # 1750269M1 price here is $2.57 US.

NAPA sells the oil filter, although call first as it may take a day or two to get it in. It is PN: 1107 - this is a WIC filter so if you have a auto part store that sells wic's then you can go there,
Cost here was $6.59 US.

BTW Do you live near MacMullen Rd? A friend of one of my friends was a Dr. in Stirling. Went Through there about 10 years ago. Small world huh.
