Mine are gone. Need the size and tpi of the originals,
Were the nuts welded in the frame? Or was the bracket or frame tapped. Were different nuts and bolts used on TO's
and TE's ? Thanks

I had to make a new one for my tractor once...seems to me that it was 7/16" X 20 National Fine threads (TO-20)...it is a shoulder bolt that has a shoulder diameter on it that is slightly smaller than the hole going through the hood extension...length of shoulder is so that it will bottom out before hood gets tight against mating part. To find out if this is what you have...try a bolt in the threaded hole. Seems like I remember 11/16" hex stock (mild steel)was what I used. A front lawn mower axle bolt would be a great place to start...if you got a friend that has a lathe to do the rest...(The hole is threaded.) Or a regular bolt with a bushing on it of the proper length would work just as good. Otherwise...a tractor salvage yard is your answer. L8R....Fred OH
