I purchased a MF TO35 that is in excellent condition. One of the issues that I do have is that the guages are not original. I bought a service manual but it does not show where the ampmeter, Oil Pressure, Tach, ect go. Does anyone have the layout for the guages.

Thanks Joe

Hi Joe, You didn't mention what year is your tractor nevertheless my T0 35 is a 1958 and the gauge on the left of the steering column is the amp meter then in the middle and bigger hole is the tractormeter which is the tach and hour meter combined. The remaining hole to the lower right is the temp gauge and far right is the oil pressure. You may have fun trying to find these as original. Before you check anywhere for the tractormeter find out if you have an alternator or generator. If it is an alternator then there is no use cause the tractormeter is run by a cable from a small gear set up behind generator.

Good Luck

Thanks Norm. My TO35 is a 1955 and I believe they are about the same. The only original guage I have is the Tach/Hour meter. It is disconnected and I am not sure if it works (It leaks because it fogs up when it is damp outside. I am running the original generator but someone cut the tach cable and stuffed it under the battery box. Fun Fun Fun.

Thanks for the lay out.

Joe

Joe, You have the most important one cause there's no replacement for these except a boneyard. If you want it running you should remove it and try turning it with the cable. If it runs just replace cable. If it is seized as mine was you can remove the outer chrome ring by bending slightly with cutters and then you can oil it good until it turns. There is a rubber ring gasket which could be cracked but you could fashion one or use regular gasket and silicone.

Feel free to ask some more or email.

Best of luck.
