Good Morning Everyone

My TEA-20 has been working great the last few weeks but last friday I noticed that when I turn ON my fuel supply,( I always turn it off after using the tractor )that gas leaked out of the carb. Once I turned ON the gas I started the tractor right away and the leak stopped. Now yesterday I turned On the fuel supply again and NO lekas this time, but when I tried to start the tractor nothing, it would roll over great, but wouldnt fire. I treid to choke it and it would fire right up, but then die out. Could I have a stuck float in my carb? How hard is the card to rebuild? Remember Im very new to this tractor stuff, any help would be great. Thanks in advance

Sounds like dirt to me. I had the same thing with the float sticking open, sticking shut, back and forth. I took the carb apart and was amazed that it ran at all, there was so much crud in there.
They aren't hard to do. Just try to salvage the one and only gasket as you take it apart, or have a spare ready. Get some carb cleaner at Cdn Tire or so and soak the parts that look like they need it. Clean clean clean, then put it back together, and away you go.

Thanks for the info, I will check out a NAPA store this week. Stirling is located about 22 km north/west of Belleville. Once you find Stirling Im north of there, between Stirling and Marmora on Highway 14. May I ask where in Ontario you are from?
