Sorry guys , any ferguson wrench that I've ever seen was used as a fuel gauge , those marks are in Imperial gallons , one end is definitely 9/16 , but the big end is weel over 3/4 , more like 7/8 , it was designed to fit most bolts on a Fergie , including the wheeel nuts , makes a great hammer too----- Bill

Hi

The wrench ends are 9/16" and 1-1/16"
As per my TEA operators manual the ruler is to
measure plough depth.

Never measure gas level in the tank using a
metallic object...static electricity may cause
a spark and ignite gas vapors and then an unexpected explosion. Never use a metallic can
to carry gas for same reasons.

That's why now all gas carrying containers are made with plastics.

How about gas stations metallic nozzles ?
they are well grounded to earth to avoid static
electricity buildup.

"Good wrench" to all !

The spanner was supplied as standard with all Ferguson tractors of the era. The rule was for measuring the depth the plough was working to and was useful for setting the plough to work at the desired depth.

The wrench is a cultivator wrench. The ruler side is for measuring the distance between the plow units. The wrench ends should be 9/16 and 3/4 inch
