Replaced old oil cap with new one, now it is blowing oil around distributor. What could be the problem?

O-ring on distributor should prevent the oil leak.

If the breather is pluged and a loose cap ok tight cap air pressure has to go some place.

Gordon is correct. There is a crankcase vent
pipe on the left side of the valve cover that
is to allow internal pressures out. (nowdays
apv-pcv valves re vent and are burned via
combustion.
Check the vent pipe for clogging OR the valve
guide holes if there is a chance oil burn/clogg-
ing may have occured.
