Recently, I posted in regard to my Ferguson not getting any spark and would just like to inform everyone of what my problem was so that if they had a similiar problem they would know what to check. I found my problem in the points. Like some older tractors, mine had been converted into a 12 volt system that was to hot for the 6 volt points. Although the 12-volt system is nicer it will burn you points up, but I solved that problem. I placed a resistor between the coil and the distributor that knocked out 6 of the 12 votls that I run the tractor on. Maybe this can help someone else. Thanks for all the responses I got when I first put my problem on the board!
