Gregg, If your TO 35 is actually Beige/Green it is rare. According to history of the 35 in the April '02 "Ferguson Furrows" there was a limited amount of the 35's & 40's painted the Beige/Green combo and sent out to distributors & dealers in the spring of 56 to get their reaction. Anyway they did not go with those colors and decided on the Beige/Flint Gray colors. Serial #'s 167,157 to 171,740 in 1956 171,741 to 178,215 in 1957. In 1958 they went to Red/Flint Gray. Hope this helps.

Here are some numbers given to me by paint companies:

METALLIC GREEN
DuPont B9533
Napa 2245
Sherwin Williams 5977

BEIGE
DuPont B8521A ??
NAPA 39589
Sherwin Williams 39589

Regardless of which supplier, ask them to make a small batch so you can see if it looks reasonable to you. You can usually find a place on the tractor where the paint has been hidden from the sun. Under the hood, the steering column under the instrument panel, etc.

Paul;
I have a paint chart that someone created showing the TO-35 was red/gray after a particular serial number late in 1957. Is this consistent with the info you have?
Thanks,
Roger

Roger, yes, the color of the TO-35 was changed to red/flint gray in late '57. However, I have never seen anything that gives the exact SN at which the change took place. If you have such information I would appreciate receiving it.

Thanks!
