Good Afternoon Everyone

When I bought my 1952 TEA-20 I managed to change all the wires, plugs, fluids and filters. Now I want to try and tackle the distributor cap and what ever else is under there. I think there is a rotor, points etc. Other than my local massey dealer ( they tell me it will take 4 weeks to get the stuff ) Where else might a guy get these parts, and what would I expect to pay for it? Many thanks as always Barry

I put electronic ignition in my 52 TO-30. Easy to do and eleminates problems of condensor failure, sticking points, etc. Tractor runs great. Cost about $100 and well worth it to me.

Ordered from Genesee Products @ www.geneseeproducts.com. The folk there are very friendly and helpful.

Hi Barry,
The local UAP/Napa store here (Carleton Place) carries that stuff as there are so many TEAs still in the area. The parts are made by Vapormatic, and you can check them out at www.vapormatic.com. Look under Engines, Standard, 85 mm, Ignition System.
I haven't checked prices of these things lately but remember that the cap was the one piece that was pretty high, at about $40 Cdn., and the rest was not too bad.
If you strike out locally email me on the side and we can sort something out.
Jim W.

Glen,
I own a 1954 TEA-20 that I am slowly restoring and working with regularly on my property and woodlot.
I live in the Shawinigan area, and the local dealer's prices are outrageous. Could you please send me the coordinates of the place in Montreal that sells Ferguson parts.
Thank you, Fabien.

Any self respecting massey store that does not have basic parts as those for a TEA should be ashamed of himself, in Canada at least.
