I have a few questions for the experts.
1- If pistons do not have directional arrows stamped on top of them, does it matter which way they go on?
2-Should the spray hole in the connecting rod, face away from the camshaft?
3-What is the cylinder to piston wall measurement? My manual doesn't say.
4-The front main bearing in my rebuild kit is flanged.Does this mean that I do not need a fiber thrust washer?
5-Why do I need to boil my new timing gears in oil before use? What kind of oil do I use? What is the proceedure for doing this?
6-What is wrong when you run out of quadrant adjustment. What is needed to fix it.
7-If you have the clutch rebuilt and the flywheel resurfaced,do you have to adjust the release levers on the clutch, and if so how?
8- WHEW! That's enough.I appreciate any responses.Thanks,MiltonK.

Milton,
#2 The answer is yes.
#4 My parts manual calls for a flanged bearing in the TO and TE20 but not in TO30. My rebuild did not have flanged and I used fiber washer..... ....Help?????
And #3, the sleeves and pistons usually come as matched sets, but the I think the number you're looking for is .0012-.0017
Hope this can help get you started!
Gary
