Hi 9N, You're not that far from where I live.
Embrun Ont. There is a fergie dealer here in Sarsfield Ont. that might have what you need.
Bourbonnais Equipment.

Good Luck

Norm

Can't help on the clutch. But as for the HiLo, you might want to check the archives for help on that, this could be the linkage.

so i guess your not parting out?? anyway, where are ya located. there is a ferguson boneyard near harrisburg,pa. that deals only with fergusons. they have what you need. there are two different dist. used on to-35's. the early 35's used an "O" ring where the dist. sits on the block, later models did not.

Steve, where is the Fergie boneyard? Could you give me directions? I'll be in Carlisle for the Ford show soon, so it wouldn't be a problem to check out the boneyard. Thanks.

No I am not parting it out sorry, I had to try to start it glad I did. The ser. # is SCM 180915 model TO 35, the dist. #s are 1112570 space 8B27 DELCO REMY. I am in Ont. about 6 hours north of Harrisburg, Pa., or just 20 miles from U.S.-Canada border crossing on 1000 Island Bridge, which is at north end of I-81. I have been to Wengers tractor yard @ Myerstown, Pa. Thanks for your help. BURT.

Burt,

I believe that the distributor on our Standard engined TE20s is the same as on the old Series type Land Rovers - but I don't know about the TO 35s.

You could try emailing Samuel Bell at Bell Tractors in Northern Ireland - they've been F and MF dealers for years, and are very helpful.

Their email add is sales@NOSPAMbelltractors.com but without the Nospam bit.

Good luck, and please post if you get any joy - the info may help someone else in the same position.

Note any numbers, serial numbers, part numbers or manufacturer's name off your borrowed distributor, and include the info in your email to Samuel.

There is a company over here that does replica Lucas bits, but they may also be able to come up with an equivalent distributor for your type - they are Syd Brown & Sons, in Longbridge (home of Rover Cars) and their phone number is +44 1772 782435 or fax +44 1772 799192.

Hope this helps, otherwise you will face a trawl through breakers' yards.

Unsticking the clutch is not something I can reliably help with - someone else will know, or the archives may help.
