I have recently bought a tractor which i am told is a Ferguson 35 Gold. I am wondering how i can identify it as a gold other than paint, what it is worth in restored condition and is it worth hanging on to?

If you would like to contact me via email I will give you the full history of your tractor, I also have a FE 35 Grey and Gold Ferguson and have fully restored it. Mine has all the origanal manuals that came with the tractor when new.

First time I have used this system.
Looking for some history on the banner lane factory coventry years 1950 1960 to give a talk to vintage tractor group. I served my apprenticeship at Banner lane during this time.
Have plenty of material on tractor production in video form, need some pictures of any events around that time etc

Regards

Ken

If it is a Ferguson FE (Ferguson England)35 as stamped on the manufacturers plates then it will be grey metalwork with gold body( engine, transmission, axels).
If it is a Massey Ferguson it will be red and grey and if it is a Ferguson TE (Tractor England)20 it will be all grey.
