I purchased one from a family prior to the estate sale. It's in pretty good shape . I got it running, everything working o.k, but I have a miss in the engine. I put a different used head on it,new wiring, plugs etc. but I still have a miss. I checked and cleaned the carb. I'm just a backyard mechanic officially. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I really like this little tractor and would like to have it running better before a fall festival I'd like to go to!!

bob do acompression test this will help you confirm the mechanical shape of your motor.also make sure your cam lobes are good you also can check your plug condition this should narrow it down to which cylinder it is. if compression is ok then use aspark tester with an adjustable gap to test your ignition strenth.hope this helps good luck .kirk
