I have just purchased an old ferguson tractor. I am led to believe it is a T20, but how can I be sure? How can I tell how old it is? It is TVO, what are the starting and running instructions for this model?
Very grateful for any help

TEA395147 is 1954 a lot of these if its in UK were converted to run on kerosene. If its in USA or Canada it will still be on gas/petrol.

if you look on the left of the page you first come to and see all the postings, right at the top of that column you will see manuals, you should get what you need there, if you dont post on here again and we will find you one somehow.

Sorry I cant give you estimate of values as I am in UK and have no idea of what prices are in US. But if you look in that column to the left of the page again under "RESEARCH & INFO" you will see a section "Tractor values" maybe you will get a better idea from there.

Congratulations, If its a TVO model then it will be a TED20. As to starting it, start on petrol then switch over to TVO when engine is warm. TVO vapourises at a higher themp than petrol. As to age is there a plate riveted to the dash under the steering wheel? This should have a serial number on which you can cross reference with a list on the friends of ferguson website. www.fofh.co.uk
